Changes (this i wrote halfway through last year but forgot to publish it...oops)

There are times in life when more things are changing than are staying the same. A water fight gone wrong. A friend forgetting. Someone shattering every hope and dream by asking one simple question. The things which used to occupy every minute are now found repulsive. People previously unknown become the very ones who form the tightest team ever seen.

This change is something that I didn’t notice until it had already happened. One change in particular has left me feeling a little hurt, but then I turn around and stop looking at the negativity column and I see that my positive change column is running onto the next page already.

I’m glad the water fight put an end to the ridiculous situation that was going down, because I was about to get myself into trouble which I may not have been able to get out of. I have no idea what possessed me to be so inquisitive, but whatever it was showed its ugly face as he turned around.

It seems as if overnight I have found a new source of joy and energy and I could not actually care about the hurt that trivial issues cause. I know that my roots are firmly planted and no matter how strong the wind I will not be uprooted.

My life is now secure

These words seem to be speaking to me in a way I cannot understand or explain.

The change in my life is absolutely radical. I am so excited yet terrified at the same time. I know that things are going to be different this year, but I am on a mission. A mission that will take me into places I would not have wanted to go before. A mission that will change me from the inside out. A mission that will require obedience. A mission to serve.

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God you are higher than any other
Our God is Healer
Awesome in power
And if our God is for us
then who could ever stop us
and if our God is with us
then what could stand against?

I Serve a Great God. Nothing will separate me from His love and mercy. I love Him with all my heart and I accept the change He is bringing into my life.
